The Export Settings Screen

To open this screen, click the "CUSTOMIZE USER" menu on the Welcome Screen, then open the User Customization Screen. On the upper right, under "Advanced Options", you will see a button labeled "Export User Messages". Click this button. It will open a screen (shown here in screenshot) where you will make the following four choices:

Choice #1: Whether to have the "Export Button" displayed on the main screen of the program.

Choice #2: What exactly Export Button should do. Your options are:

"JUST ONE PAGE": Export just one mp3 file, for the current page (this is best for emails)

"WORKBOOK, PLAYLIST": Export the whole workbook, creating one mp3 file per page (this is best if the user will be downloading the workbook to a handheld device)

"WORKBOOK, PLAYLIST, SMALL CHUNKS": Export the whole workbook, giving each purple bean its own mp3 file. This is best if the user will be using a handheld device in order to self-cue -- that is, playing a bean through an earphone then trying to repeat it with "live" speech.

"WORKBOOK PLAYLIST FOR THE INTERNET": This creates one mp3 file for each workbook page, and also creates a both a playlist and a set of html files designed for posting on the Internet. You type in the URL where you will be putting the exported workbook folder, and the playlist will include that URL, which is necessary if you are posting it on a web page.

Choice #3: Whether to let the user create text captions to be displayed when the sound file is playing. See the section on captions for details.

Choice #4: Where to create the "Export Folder" containing this user's exported files. Put this folder someplace where you can find it easily...perhaps in your Documents folder or on your Desktop.
